A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND OBTAIN A SECOND PROFESSIONAL REAL
ESTATE APPRAISAL OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF FOURTH STREET AND ALTON ROAD,
NAMELY LOTS 1, 2, 3, AND 4 OF OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NO.3
WHEREAS, the City Administration has, with the endorsement of the Parking
Committee, recommended that a second professional real estate appraisal be made on any
City-owned property that is proposed as surplus and prior to being publicly bid; and
WHEREAS, the City.Commission, by Resolution No. 83-17481, has authorized the
Administration to solicit for appraisals in order to determine the fair market value of the
property; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
1. The City Commission hereby adopts the findings of the Parking Committee
and City Administration recommendations.
2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate a professional
services contract for the appraisal of the subject sites.
3. Funding shall be from Fiscal Year 1983-1984 Property Appraisal Account.
