A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA HONORARILY CO-
NAMING 17TH STREET LOCATED BETWEEN COLLINS
AVENUE AND WEST AVENUE AS "HANK MEYER
BOULEVARD. "
WHEREAS, HANK MEYER is an individual whose expertise was
responsible for bringing Miami Beach to the attention of the whole
world, and who, at the height of his performance made Miami Beach
the most famous tropical tourist destination of any in the western
hemisphere; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach wishes to express its
sincere gratitude to Hank Meyer for his 27 years of continued
devotion and dedication to the benefit of Miami Beach,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, THAT:
The road located on 17th Street between Collins Avenue
and West Avenue is hereby honorarily designated "Hank Meyer
Boulevard" in appreciation to Hank Meyer for his total immersion
in the promotion of Miami Beach over the past 27 years.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of February, 1984 .
