A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION FOR
USE OF SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER AND NORTH HALL MEETINGS ROOMS
ON MAY 17 THROUGH MAY 24 , 1984.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
SOUTH HALL - MAY 17-24, 1984
NORTH HALL MEETING ROOMS - MAY 20-23 , 1984
for the event known as
CONVENTION
on MAY 17-24 , 1984
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been
prepared by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS , the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City toauthorize
the execution of the said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
above-described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that
the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 14th day of March, 1984 .
