RESOLUTION 84-17667 RESOLUTION NO. 84-17667 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATION TO EXECUTE A LICENSE AGREEMENT TO USE A WAREHOUSE FACILITY OFFERED BY THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT FOR THE STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT BY THE MIAMI BEACH MARINE PATROL. WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach Marine Patrol is currently located in two buildings that are within the construction area of the Miami Beach Marina public bay walk; and WHEREAS, the developers, Carner-Mason Associates, Ltd. have requested that these buildings be vacated so that their construction may proceed in this area; and WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Police Department has contacted the Real Estate Division of the United States Army for the purpose of obtaining permission to store the Marine Patrol equipment in a garage structure within the Army Corps of Engineers reservation property; and WHEREAS, the Real Estate Division of the United States Army has offered a license agreement for the use of this facility for a period of one year at no cost to the City, and may be renewed or cancelled at any time by the City or the United States Government with a thirty day written notice; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM- MISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that they authorize the administration to execute a license agreement to use a warehouse facility offered by the United States Government for the storage of equipment by the Miami Beach Marine Patrol.
