A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
FURTHER EXTENSION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH
AMERIFIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIA-
TION, FORMERLY KNOWN AS FIRST FEDERAL
SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF MIAMI, FOR
USE OF PARKING SPACES IN OFF-STREET PARKING
AREA 24B (71ST STREET AND RUE VENDOME) FROM
JANUARY 1, 1984 to DECEMBER 31, 1984.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach by its Resolution No. 79-1583 , passed and adopted the 17th
day of January, 1979 , did authorize the execution of an Agree-
ment with First Federal Savings and Loan Association,
now known as Amerifirst Federal Savings and Loan, for the use of
the parking spaces in off-street Parking Lot 24B (71st Street
and Rue Vendome) for a period of one year; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach, by its Resolution No. 81-16531, authorized an extension
of the above-mentioned Agreement for a period from January 1,
1981 to December 31, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach by its Resolution No. 82-16945 authorized a further exten-
sion of the above-mentioned Agreement for a period from January
1, 1982 through December 31, 1982; and
WHEREAS, during the periods that all extensions of
said Agreement have been in effect, Amerifirst Federal Savings
and Loan Association has performed all services specified in
said Agreement in a totally satisfactory manner; and
WHEREAS, the further extension of said Agreement
provides that the bank shall have the use of five (5) off-street
parking spaces for the one (1) year period from January 1, 1984
through December 31, 1984 , upon the terms, conditions, and pro-
visions set forth therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined it to be
in the best interests of the City that such further extension be
entered into by and between the City and said bank be confirmed
by way of a written agreement; and

WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an appropriate
agreement of extension containing such terms, conditions, and
provisions with which the City Commission is familiar;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk be and the same are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the said Agreement 's
extension for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
