A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI BEACH CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ESTABLISH A
SPECIAL REVENUE ACCOUNT TO OPERATE PROGRAMS
FOR EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE, IF
FUNDS ARE GRANTED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY AFFAIRS.
WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends that the City apply for
grant monies from the Florida Department of Community Affairs for Emergency
Transportation Assistance; and
WHEREAS, a Special Revenue Account is required to be established to
facilitate the program, if the City is awarded the grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to establish one Special Revenue Account to be used to operate the
Emergency Transportation Asisstance program, if the funds are granted by the State
of Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 14th day of March, 1984.
