A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF SEPARATE TRUST FUNDS FOR
LIBRARY, POLICE TRAINING AND POLICE
CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNTS.
WHEREAS, the trust account designations for library, police training and police
confiscation activities do not allow for certain encumbrance/expenditure requirements of
each said activity; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of separate trust funds for each said activity
would permit the ability to encumber against the fund balance of each said trust fund;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Commission authorizes the
establishment of separate trust funds for the activities of Library, Police Training and
Police Confiscation heretofore designated as trust accounts.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 14th day of March, 1984
