A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH MIAMI INTERNATIONAL CULINARY
SHOW, INC. FOR USE OF THE SOUTH HALL OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON MARCH 28
THROUGH APRIL 2, 1984 . (AFTER THE FACT)
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
MIAMI INTERNATIONAL CULINARY SHOW, INC.
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
DECEMBER 21, 1983
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to-wit:
THE SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
1984 MIAMI INTERNATIONAL CULINARY SHOW
on MARCH 28 THROUGH APRIL 2, 1984
LESSEE WILL CHANGE USE OF THE SOUTH HALL TO
ROOM 100 IN THE NORTH HALL
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No. 188-84 , a
copy of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which
this Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made part hereof, the
provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the
existing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission
Memorandum be and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and
on behalf of the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of April, 1984 .

AMENDMENT Lessee will change use of the South Hall to Room 100
PURPOSE: in the North Hall of the Miami Beach Convention Center.
RATE: The rental will be reduced to 40 per square foot used
with a minimum guarantee of $3,000.00.
