A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PLACING CERTAIN NEGOTIATED
AND AGREED UPON LANGUAGE INTO THE CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND THE AMERICAN
FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL
EMPLOYEES (A.F.S.C.M.E.) LOCAL 1554 AND RATIFYING
THE NEGOTIATED WAGE SETTLEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach and the American Federation of State,
County and Municipal Employees (A.F.S.C.M.E.) Local 1554 reopened wage
negotiations and certain other negotiations per Contract and have agreed on certain
issues, the following language, which has been agreed to by both parties, shall be
considered as a part of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal
Employees (A.F.S.C.M.E.) Local 1554 Contract and shall be placed therein:
WAGE SETTLEMENT
Wage increases to be effective on or payroll commencing nearest the following
dates:
May 1, 1984 3%
November 1, 1984 5%
March 1, 1985 3%
November 1, 1985 5% it
The Contract will expire on April 30, 1986.
if If Amendment #1 passes, City will elect to reopen the subject of this 5%
increase--if amendment #1 fails, Union may elect to reopen subject of when
Contract will expire.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of April , 1984.
