RESOLUTION 84-17710 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING BOARD TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1891 PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PARKING OVERLAY REGULATIONS AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN PROPERTY AS A PARKING OVERLAY ZONE; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION OF ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1891, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Miami Beach, at a public hearing held on March 27, 1984, approved proposed amendments to the City's Zoning Ordinance No. 1891 concerning the creation of a new section entitled "Parking Overlay Regulations" and designating property at 428 - 440 W. 40th Street (Lots 12-13, Block 15, Orchard Subdivision #2-3) as a Parking Overlay Zone; WHEREAS, said action of the Planning Board has been duly transmitted to the City Commission pursuant to Section 16 of said Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a Public Hearing for consideration of the aforementined proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is hereby called to be held before the City Commission in its chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at 2:30 P.M. on the 5th day of June , 1984, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish appropriate Public Notice of said Public Hearing to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all interested parties will be heard.
