A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
RETAINER AGREEMENT WITH THE LAW FIRM OF
SIBLEY, GIBLIN, LEVENSON & GLASER.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Commission
that the interests of the City in the trial of that certain cause
styled as South Shore Developers, Inc. , et al. v. City of Miami
Beach and Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency, Case No. 82-24529 (19)
would be well served by the retention of the law firm of Sibley,
Giblin, Levenson & Glaser as special trial counsel in said cause;
and
WHEREAS , the City Attorney has drafted a retainer
agreement, which has been approved by the City Commission, which
sets forth the terms and conditions by which the law firm shall
serve as special trial counsel to the City in the above-captioned
cause;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
authorized to execute the Retainer Agreement between the City of
Miami Beach and the law firm of Sibley, Giblin, Levenson & Glaser
for the defense of the City in the cause of South Shore
Developers, Inc. , et al. v. City of Miami Beach and Miami Beach
Redevelopment Agency, Case No. 82-24526 (19 ) .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of April , 1984.
