A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING THE
BUDGET OF THE CONVENTION CENTER SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1983-84.
WHEREAS, the Convention Center Director has projected that Convention
Center activities in FY 1983-84 will result in additional parking lot operational expenses,
with offsetting revenues for the same time period,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Corn mission authorizes the
F Y 1983-84 budget of the Parking Lot Operation Account of the Convention Center Special
Revenue Fund be increased from $37,500 to $75,000.

SUBJECT: CONVENTION CENTER SPECIAL REVENUE FUND-
AMENDMENT TO PARKING LOT OPERATION ACCOUNT
On October 5, 1983, the City Com mission adopted the RY 83-84 budget of the Convention
Center Special Revenue Fund in the amount of $237,500. The original budget appropriated
$182,500 for capital expenditures and $55,000 for operational expenses. Subsequently, the
sum of $200,000 was allocated to Work Order No. 2926 for the wrap-around roof.
The Convention Center Director has projected that the Parking Lot operation will require
$75,000 in total expenditures for the fiscal year, largely the result of additional bookings.
This increase will be offset by an anticipated additional $50,000 in revenue during the same
time period.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
The Administration recom mends that the FY 1983-84 budget of the Parking Lot Operation
Account of the Convention Center Special Revenue Fund be increased from $37,500 to
$75,000.
