A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION 78-15642 CHANGING THE NAME OF THE
HURRICANE DEFENSE COMMITTEE TO HURRICANE AND
FIRE DEFENSE COMMITTEE AND INCREASING THE
NUMBER OF MEMBERS FROM EIGHT TO NINE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that after May 16 , 1984;
1. The Hurricane Defense Committee shall henceforth
be known as the Hurricane and Fire Defense Committee; and
2. The Hurricane and Fire Defense Committee shall
increase its number of members from eight to nine; and
3. This resolution shall be made to reflect these
changes accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA amending Resolution
78-15642 changing the name of the Hurricane Defense Committee to
Hurricane and Fire Defense Committee and increasing the number
of members from eight to nine is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of May , 1984 .
