A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
PROVIDING FOR THE COMMENDATION AND
REAPPOINTMENT OF TWO APPOINTEES TO
THE PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL OF SOUTH
FLORIDA, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE
JOB TRAINING PARTNERSHIP ACT.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, by its Resolution 1183-17319,
passed and adopted April 20, 1983, appointed six (6) persons to the Private Industry
Council of South Florida (PIC); and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, by its Resolution No. 83-
17341, passed and adopted May 17, 1983, provided for fixed and staggered terms
for said appointments; and
WHEREAS, the following two appointments expire June 30, 1984:
1. Private Sector -
Hotels/Motels: Mr. Mario De Rey
2. Public Sector -
Economic Development: Ms. Gladys Kane ; and
WHEREAS, both appointees have served well and have indicated
their desire to continue such service;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that both Mr. Mario De Rey and Ms.
Gladys Kane are hereby commended for such service and are hereby reappointed
for two year terms, ending June 30, 1986.
PASSED and ADOPTED this _5th day of June __, 1984.
