A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE FIRST
AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND POST, BUCKLEY, SCHUH &
JERNIGAN FOR SOUTH POINTE PARK PROJECT.
WHEREAS , on February 15 , 1984, the City Commission,
pursuant to Resolution No. 84-17640 entered into an agreement
between Post, Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan and the City for
architectural services on the South Pointe Park Project; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to
execute a First Amendment to the above-referenced agreement to
modify the method of payment for additional services and to add
and delete certain clauses; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared and approved an
appropriate First Amendment to the Agreement and the City Manager
has recommended that the City enter into said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute the
First Amendment to the Agreement between the City of Miami Beach
and Post, Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan for South Pointe Park Project
for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 51-1, day of June, 1984 .
