A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA REQUESTING TAX
EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA FOR PUBLIC USE.
WHEREAS , the City of Miami Beach, Florida, acquired for
metered parking purposes the following described property on
August 3, 1984 :
Lot 1, Block 2, ORCHARD SUBDIVISION NO. 4,
according to the Plat thereof as recorded in
Plat Book 25 at Page 30 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, herewith formally requests exemption from
taxes as of date of acquisition of the property herein set forth,
pursuant to Florida Statutes, §196. 28 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a certified copy of this
resolution be transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County
Commission, its County Manager, its Tax Assessor , and its Tax
Collector.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of September , 1984.
