A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LICENSE
AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT
OF THE NAVY. (Installation, use, maintenance of naval antennae
South Point Park Observation tower)
WHEREAS, the United States Department of the Navy has
proposed the installation and maintenance of a Raydist Antenna at
the South Pointe Park Observation Tower; and
WHEREAS , the City Commission finds the erection and
maintenance of this naval antenna to be in the interest of public
health, safety and welfare; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has approved as to legality a
license agreement by and between the City and the United States
Navy for this naval antenna and the City Administration has
recommended its execution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
authorized to execute a license agreement with the United States
Department of the Navy for the foregoing naval antenna.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of September , 1984 .
