A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING BOARD TO AMEND THE
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1891 REGARDING APPLICATION FEE
SCHEDULE RELATING TO CONDITIONAL USES, VARIANCES,
CHANGE OF ZONING REQUESTS AND AMENDMENTS TO THE
ZONING CODE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Miami Beach, at a public hearing
held on July 24, 1984, approved proposed amendments to the City's Zoning Ordinance No.
1891, pertaining to increasing the application fees for conditional use applications including
Adult Congregate Living Facilities and the recording in the Circuit Court of a Conditional
Use approval and required conditions, if any; providing for an amendment to Section 12-5d
removing the official Director of Code Enforcement and replacing it with the appropriate
agency; providing for an amendment to Section 13-5 creating subsection 13-5C pertaining to
the recordation of the Board of Adjustment's findings in the Circuit Court; providing for an
amendment to Section 13-6 relating to an increase in application fees for variances and
appeals from Administrative rulings; and providing for an amendment to Section 16-2D
relating to increases in application fees for change of zoning and zoning amendment
requests;
WHEREAS, said action of the Planning Board has been duly transmitted to the
City Commission on September 5, 1984, pursuant to Section 16 of said Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a Public Hearing for consideration of the
aforementioned proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is hereby called to be held
before the City Commission in its chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700
Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at 3:00 P.M. on the
17th day of October , 1984, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to publish appropriate Public Notice of said Public Hearing to be published in a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all
interested parties will be heard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of September , 1984.
