A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MEMBERSHIP FEES
FOR THE MIAMI BEACH YOUTH CENTER FOR THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH PARKS ac RECREATION DEPARTMENT
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 1984
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, that, effective October 1, 1984, there is hereby established a new membership fee
for the City of Miami Beach Youth Center, in accordance with the Commission Memorandum
hereby attached and made a part thereof.

The current membership fee for the Miami Beach Youth Center was established via
Resolution No. 82-17020 on May 19, 1982.
However, as a result of an analysis of the current operating p g expenditures coupled with
proposed expenditure increases in selected line items it is recommended that the present
membership fee be modified in the following manner:
Youth Center Current Fee Proposed Fee
Yearly Membership Fee Resident $ 55.00
$100.00
(October through September) Non-Resident
$110.00 $200.00
Residents who are unable to pay the entire membershipfee
at one time or are in need of
special consideration are handled
on an individual basis and at no time, is any child turned
away for inability to pay.
The above fee structure will apply to the first child in
a family, all subsequent family
members will be half price. For children attendingMiami Beach
Miami Beach, the fee would bedoubled.

It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the
