SUBJECT: Landscaping Improvements at elle Isle Park
The purpose of this LTC is to notify the City Commission that the Parks and Recreation
Department will be temporarily closing the oval field at Belle Isle Park to perform
landscaping improvements.
The project shall consist of sod removal, surface grading and the installation of new sod.
The grading and installation shall take approximately one week. Following installation, the
newly sodded areas will remain closed for additional estimated three to four weeks to allow
proper rooting and establishment.
The project is expected to commence on Monday, May 13, 2019, and be completed by
Friday, June 7, 2019, weather permitting.
