RESOLUTION 84-17889 RESOLUTION NO. 84-17889 - A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RECREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN IMPREST CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS AND HUMAN SERVICES WITH INTERCONTINENTAL BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, AND REPEALING RESOLUTIONS NO. 79-15966, 80- 16257, 82-17166, and 83-17334. WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach created an Imprest Checking Accounting for the Department of Community Affairs and Human Services with the Intercontinental Bank of Miami Beach, in the amount of $ 2,000.00, for the purpose of making emergency payments to the needy; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. An Imprest Checking Account in the amount of $2,000.00 be reestablished at the Intercontinental Bank of Miami Beach. 2. That the five following employees be authorized to sign assistance payment checks and that two signatures be required. Either Gladys A. Kane or Shaye M. Ross, must sign, with one of the other signatures. Gladys A. Kane Frances Katz or or and Shaye M. Ross Rebecca Greenspan or Judy Daddona 3. That the maximum amount to be paid by such checks be $25.00. 4. That a full accounting be rendered by the Human Services Division each time reimbursement of the Imprest Checking Account is requested. 5. That checks be prepared to create two record-keeping and auditing copies. 6. That Resolution No. 79-15966, adopted on July 18, 1979; Resolution No. 80-16257, adopted on April 23, 1980; Resolution No. 82-17166, adopted on October 20, 1982; and Resolution No. 83-17334, adopted on May 4, 1983, be and the same are hereby repealed.
