A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING BOARD TO AMEND
ORDINANCE NO. 1891, THE SAME BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EXCLUDE CERTAIN PARCEL OF
LAND FROM THE MUNICIPAL USE (MU) DISTRICT AND TO
INCLUDE SAME IN THE CONVENTION CENTER (CCC) DISTRICT
(1931 MERIDIAN AVENUE).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA THAT,
WHEREAS, the Planning Board held a public hearing on September 25, 1984 for
consideration of the Change of Zoning so as to exclude from MU Municipal Use and to
include in the CCC Convention Center District, as said districts are defined and set forth in
Zoning Ordinance No. 1891 and has transmitted same to the City Commission pursuant to
Section 16. Changes and Amendments of Zoning Ordinance No. 1891, the following property:
North 50 ft. of Lot 1, Block 7A, less the west 3 ft. of Lot 1, and portion of
Bridle Path (30 ft.) lying east of north 50 ft. of Lot 1, Block 7A, Golf
Course Subdivision; according to the Plat there of as recorded in Plat
Book 6, at Page 26 of the Public Record of Dade County, Florida, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a Public Hearing for consideration of the
aforementioned proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is hereby called to be held
before the City Commission in its Chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall,
1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at 3 P.M. on the 5th day of
December, 1984, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish appropriate
Public Notice of said Public Hearing to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all interested parties will be heard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 1984.
