A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM FOR USE OF
THE THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON NOVEMBER 1,
1984 (AFTER THE FACT) ; DECEMBER 4 , 1984 ;
FEBRUARY 4 , 6 , AND 13 , 1985 ; MARCH 6 , 7 , 11,
AND 31, 1985; AND APRIL 1, 1985 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
THE THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as
NINE CONCERTS AND ONE REHEARSAL
on NOVEMBER 1, 1984 MARILYN HORN
DECEMBER 4 , 1984 HENRY S Z ERYNG
FEBRUARY 4 , 1985 NADJA SALERNO-SONNENBERG
FEBRUARY 6 , 1985 ANDRE WATTS
FEBRUARY 13 , 1985 KATIA AND MARIELIE LABEQUE
MARCH 6 AND 7 , 1985 ISRAEL PHILHARMONIC
MARCH 11, 1985 KIRI TEKANAWA
MARCH 31, 1985 TOSCA - REHEARSAL
APRIL 1, 1985 TOSCA
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been
prepared by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
above-described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that
the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
