A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND SCOTT E.
ROSS ASSOCIATES FOR THE PURPOSE OF ANALYZING
THE MARKET POTENTIALS TO ATTRACT NEW RESIDENTS
TO MIAMI BEACH AND TO PREPARE A MARKETING AND
ADVERTISING STRATEGY TO ACCOMPLISH SUCH.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
authorized the Administration to negotiate an agreement with Scott
E. Ross Associates for the rendition of professional services for
the purpose of analyzing the market potentials to attract new
residents to Miami Beach and to prepare a marketing and advertising
strategy to accomplish this task; and
WHEREAS, the agreement has been reviewed and approved by
the City Attorney as to form and the City Manager has recommended
the execution of the agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City of
Miami Beach formally accepts the Professional Services Agreement
with Scott E. Ross Associates and authorizes its execution by the
Mayor and the City Clerk.
