A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING
ON THE 1ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1984, AND ENDING ON THE 30TH
DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1985.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, Pension Board approved the General
Employees Actuarial study which stated the City's contribution as 15% of gross salary, and;
WHEREAS, the Adopted Budget for the City of Miami Beach, Florida included a
contribution rate of 19% of gross salary, and;
WHEREAS, the revenue collections for Resort Tax and Southern Bell Franchise Taxes
have shown an upward trend;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida has
ascertained the amount of money needed for each department to carry on the government of the
City of Miami Beach as set forth in the attached schedule which is incorporated herein by
reference, totalling $73,440,022.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, that the following adjustments to the revenues generated by the City are adopted
thereby amending the Fiscal Year 1984-85 projected revenues to $73,440,022.
