A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH APPROVING THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE RENTAL
REHABILITATION PROGRAM FUND, AND THE
CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH RENTAL REHABILITATION
PROGRAM CHECKING ACCOUNT PROGRAM
WITH PAN AMERICAN BANK, N.A.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the Rental Rehabilitation Program was enacted on November
30, 1983, and is designed to assure an adequate supply of standard housing affordable
to lower income tenants; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, on June 20,
1984, authorized by Resolution No. 84-17771 the submission of an application to the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for this program; and
WHEREAS, on September 11, 1984, the City of Miami Beach received
funding approval from HUD and a request for release of funds has been submitted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. A Rental Rehabilitation Program Fund be established and maintained,
in the books of accounts, to record the operation of this program.
2. A separate checking account entitled "City of Miami Beach Rental
Rehabilitation Program" be established with Pan American Bank,
N.A., for the purpose of receiving deposits of program funds through
the Cash and Management Information System for disbursement, for
eligible program costs.
a) All withdrawals of funds from said account shall be upon
official vouchers duly prepared and bearing the account
designation as given above, each _ 'n: two signatures, as

b) and with the further provision, withdrawals of funds from said
account shall be on printed checks designated "City of Miami
Beach Rental Rehabilitation Program", bearing two signatures
as above set forth; or bearing the signature consisting of the
background and other identifying symbols and facsimile
signatures as are imprinted on the sample checks attached
hereto and made a part thereof; and the Finance Director is
hereby authorized to use said signatures in connection with said
account.
