A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING MIAMI
BEACH MARINE AUTHORITY'S T:_ECOMMENDATION TO
APPROVE AN EXTENSION INTO THE WATERWAY AT THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4525 COLLINS AVENUE,
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach, Florida
unanimously approved an extension of four (4) feet beyond the Code requirement
of 40 feet for the construction of finger piers into the waterway at the
property located at 4525 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach believes
that allowing said extension into the waterway would not be detrimental to
the surrounding areas; and
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of Mimai Beach feels
wholeheartedly feels this extension into the waterway should also be approved
by the City Commission;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA THAT the City Commission adopt the Miami Beach
Marine Authority's recommendation and grant an extension of four feet beyond
the Code requirement of 40 feet for the construction of finger piers into the
waterway at the property located at 4525 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida,
33140.
