A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH I.B.S. FLEA MARKET, INC. FOR
USE OF THE NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER ON VARIOUS DATES FOR
PRESENTATION OF THREE WORLD'S LARGEST INDOOR
FLEA MARKETS AND ONE BETTER LIVING SHOW IN 1985
AND 1986 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
I.B. S. FLEA MARKET, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the events known as
THREE (3) WORLD'S LARGEST INDOOR FLEA MARKETS MARCH,
JUNE AND NOVEMBER/DECEMBER EACH YEAR AND ONE (1) BETTER
LIVING SHOW, MAY EACH YEAR
on 1985 :
Flea Market March 3-11, 1985
Better Living Show May 10-20, 1985
Flea Market June 14-24 , 1985
Flea Market November 29-December 9 , 1985
1986 :
Flea Market March 2-10 , 1986
Better Living Show May 9-19 , 1986
Flea Market June 13-23 , 1986
Flea Market November 28-December 8 , 1986
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been
prepared by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
above-described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that
the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of December, 1984 .
