A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
COMMENCING ON THE 1ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1984, AND
ENDING ON THE 30TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1985.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has implemented a Water/Sewer
Enterprise Fund retroactively to Fiscal Year ending September 30, 1984, and;
WHEREAS, the Water and Sewer operations were budgeted in the General Fund for FY
1984-85, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach included a Garbage Franchise at 10 % of gross
receipts in the FY 1984-85 budget, and;
WHEREAS, this franchise concept has been changed to a regulatory license concept at
6% of gross receipts, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is desirous to complete the street lighting
projects on Normandy Isle, Prairie Avenue from 28th to 47th Streets and Sunset Islands 3 and 4;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida has ascertained that the following adjustments to the revenue projects for Fiscal Year
1984-85 are adopted thereby amending the budget to $65,158,216.
