A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND FRANK J. ROONEY, INC.
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW POLICE HEADQUARTERS
AND PARKING STRUCTURES.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach, pursuant to Bid No. 186-84 , (Item #2 - Base Bid #2) ,
authorized the administration to enter into a contract with
Frank J. Rooney, Inc. , a Florida corporation, for construction
of the new police headquarters and parking structures; and
WHEREAS, the contract has been drafted, approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and its execution recommended by the
City Manager ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute the contract between the City of
Miami Beach and Frank J. Rooney, Inc. for construction of new
police headquarters and parking structures, as set out in Bid
No. 186-84 , Item 2 .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 23rd day of January, 1985.
