A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER
A REQUEST THAT THE CITY ABANDON THAT PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE STREET-END KNOWN AS
CHEROKEE AVENUE, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND
DELIVERY OF A QUIT-CLAIM DEED TO SAID
ABANDONED REAL PROPERTY TO THE ADJOINING
PROPERTY OWNERS, AND PROVIDING FOR A
RESERVATION OF A UTILITY EASEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT,
WHEREAS, the City has received a petition requesting the
abandonment and vacation of certain property lying westerly of
Lot 1, Block 12, Beachview Addition, Plat Book 16 , Page 10 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, also known as the Cherokee
Street-end,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a Public
Hearing for consideration of the aforementioned proposed request
is hereby called to be held before the City Commission in its
chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700 Convention Center
Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at 3:00 P.M. on the
7nth day of February , 1985, and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to publish appropriate Public
Notice of said Public Hearing in a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place
all interested parties will be heard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of February ,
1985 .
