A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE INDEMNITY
AGREEMENTS GIVEN BY ZAMBELLI INTERNATIONALE
FIREWORKS MANUFACTURING COMPANY, INC. ,
HAVERFIELD AVIATION, INC. , AND SOUTH POINTE
DEVELOPMENT COMPANY TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
IN CONNECTION WITH GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR
SOUTH POINTE TOWERS ON MARCH 19 , 1985.
WHEREAS, South Pointe Development Company has scheduled
a groundbreaking ceremony for the proposed South Pointe Towers to
be held in the City of Miami Beach on March 19 , 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Legal Department has required liability
insurance coverage and has prepared Indemnity Agreements releasing
the City of Miami Beach from potential liability as a result of
activities generated by South Pointe Development Company,
Haverfield Aviation, Inc. and Zambelli Internationale Fireworks
Manufacturing Company, Inc. ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and
the City Clerk are authorized to execute the Indemnity Agreements
given by Zambelli Internationale Fireworks Manufacturing Company,
Inc. , Haverfield Aviation, Inc. and South Pointe Development
Company to the City of Miami Beach in connection with
groundbreaking ceremony for South Pointe Towers on March 19 , 1985.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of March, 1985.
