A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK
GRANT TO THE HUMAN SERVICES DIVISION Vf/HICH HAVE BEEN
AWARDED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AFFAIRS FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach adopted Resolution
No. 85-17995, which authorized the City Manager to apply for grant monies from the
Florida Department of Community Affairs for an emergency transportation assistance
program; and
WHEREAS, the application was submitted and reviewed by the State; and
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded $5,500 to operate the program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that effective immediately $5,500 is
appropriated to the Human Services Division from the Florida Department of
Community Affairs through the Community Services Block Grant.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of March, 1985.
