A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 85-17978 ,
FOR THE PURPOSE OF AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ADMINISTRATION AND THE DONOR TO MUTUALLY
DETERMINE A LOCATION FOR PLACEMENT OF THE
CLAUDE RENSHAW MEMORIAL MONUMENT.
WHEREAS, on January 23 , 1985 the City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida passed Resolution No. 85-17978
designating 24 inches (2 feet) of space on the top step of the
front entrance to City Hall between the two center posts for the
placement of the Claude Renshaw Monument; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that placement of the
memorial is a matter which the City Administration must clear with
its various regulatory departments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, THAT the City of Miami Beach accept the
gift of the Claude Renshaw Monument to be placed in a prominent
place within the City at a location mutually agreed upon between
the donor and the City Administration.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of March, 1985.
