A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH TEMPLE KING SOLOMON FOR USE OF
THE THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS ON OCTOBER
11, 1984-FEBRUARY 12 , 1985.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
TEMPLE KING SOLOMON
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
November 7 , 1984
for use of certain premises and facilities .of the City of Miami
Beach, to-wit:
THE THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
FOURTEEN CONCERTS
ON: OCTOBER 11, 1984 - FEBRUARY 12 , 1985
Lessee will add Jose Luis Rodriguez Concert for four
days: April 11-14 , 1985 one performance per day.
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No. 178-85 , a
copy of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which
this Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made part hereof, the
provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the
existing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission
Memorandum be and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and
on behalf of the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of March, 1985.
