A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING BOARD TO AMEND
ORDINANCE NO. 1891, THE SAME BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS TO AMEND SECTION 24-4(H)
PERTAINING TO THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD'S CONFLICT OF
INTEREST PROVISION TO INSURE SAID PROVISIONS ARE
CONSISTENT WITH FLORIDA STATUTES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT,
WHEREAS, the Planning Board held a public hearing on March 26, 1985, for
consideration of amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1891, the same being the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance, so as to amend Section 24-4(H) pertaining to the Design Review Board's
conflict of interest provision to insure said provisions are consistent with Florida Statutes;
and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said public hearing, the Planning Board
unanimously recommended that the City Commission amend Section 2-4(H) of the Zoning
Ordinance pertaining to the Design Review Board's conflict of interest provision;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a Public Hearing for consideration of the
aforementioned proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is hereby called to be held
before the City Commission in its chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall,
1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at 2:15 P.M. on the 15th
day of May , 1985, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish
appropriate Public Notice of said Public Hearing to be published in a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all interested parties will be
heard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of April 1985.
