A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH I.B. S. FLEA MARKET, INC. FOR
USE OF THE NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER ON MARCH 3-11, 1985; JUNE
14-24 , 1985 : NOVEMBER 29-DECEMBER 9 , 1985;
MARCH 2-10 , 1986 ; JUNE 13-23 , 1986 ; AND
NOVEMBER 28-DECEMBER 8 , 1986 .
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
I.B. S. FLEA MARKET, INC.
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
December 5 , 1984
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to-wit:
THE NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
WORLD 'S LARGEST INDOOR FLEA MARKETS
1985 and 1986
ON: March 3-11, 1985; June 14-24 , 1985 ; November 29-
December 9 , 1985; March 2-10 , 1986 ; June 13-23 , 1986
and November 28-Decmeber 8 , 1986.
Lessee will add three additional show dates to the
December , 1985 show only.
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No. 289-85 , a
copy of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which
this Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made part hereof, the
provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the
existing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission
Memorandum be and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and
on behalf of the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 1985.

guarantee of $18,000.00 plus $9,000.00 based on $3,000.00
for each additional day over 6 days.
ADMINISTRATION Approve contract with I .B.S . FLea Market, Inc. for payment
RECOMMENDATION: of minimum guarantee of $18,000.00 plus $9 ,000.00 based on
$3,000.00 for each additional day over 6 days.
