A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A FIRST AMENDMENT TO
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND SOUTH POINTE DEVELOPMENT
COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach entered into a
Development Agreement with South Pointe Development Company on
October 9 , 1984 for the development of certain South Pointe
properties; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the subject Agreement was
necessitated by reason of an extension of time granted by the City
of Miami Beach to South Pointe Development Company for exercise of
the option to purchase the subject parcel; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate First Amendment to Development
Agreement was drafted, the City Manager has recommended its
execution, and the City Attorney has approved it as to form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute the First Amendment to the
Development Agreement between the City of Miami Beach and South
Pointe Development Company.
