A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA , ADOPTING MIAMI BEACH
MARINE AUTHORITY' S RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE AN
EXTENSION INTO THE WATERWAY AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 1495 CLEVELAND ROAD , MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA :
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach ,
Florida unanimously approved an extension of 10 feet beyond the code
requirement of 40 feet for the construction of a 16 x 16 foot timber
dock with a boat lift and a 34 foot timber walkway into the waterway at
the property located at 1495 Cleveland Road , Miami Beach , Florida ; and
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach
believes that allowing said extension into the waterway would not be
detrimental to the surrounding areas ; and
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach feels
wholeheatedly this extension into the waterway should also be approved
by the City Commission ;
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA THAT the City Commission adopt the
Miami Beach Marine Authority ' s recommendation and grant an extension
of 10 feet for the construction of a 16 x 16 foot timber dock with a
boat lift and a 34 foot timber walkway beyond the Code requirement of
40 feet into the waterway at the property located at 1495 Cleveland
Road , Miami Beach , Florida, 33141 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of ,June , 1985 .
