A RESOLUTION PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE SIGNING
OF VOUCHERS DRAWING ON FUNDS IN CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
DEPOSITORIES (RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 84-17808)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That on and after the 10th day of July , 1985, all
withdrawals of funds from the City of Miami Beach
accounts in City Depositories described as follows:

General Clearance Account", "City of Miami Beach - Meter Account",
"City of Miami Beach Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund", "City of
Miami Beach Overpayment Account", "City of Miami Beach Payroll
Account", withdrawals from which shall be upon regular City of
Miami Beach checks designated "City of Miami Beach General Clearance
Account' , "City of Miami Beach - Meter Account", "City of Miami Beach
Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund' , "City of Miami Beach Overpayment
Account' , "City of Miami Beach Payroll Account' , each bearing two
signatures as above set forth, or bearing the signature consisting
of the background and other identifying symbols and facsimile
signatures, as are imprinted on the sample checks attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and the Finance Director is hereby authorized
to use said signatures in connection with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried
in the Intercontinental Bank, designated "City of Miami Beach General
Clearance Account", "City of Miami Beach Utility Funds - Resort Tax
Account' , "City of Miami Beach Marina Construction Account", "City
of Miami Beach Appearance Bond Account", withdrawals of funds from
which shall be on printed checks designated "City of Miami Beach
General Clearance Account", "City of Miami Beach Utility Funds -
Resort Tax Account", "City of Miami Beach Marina Construction Account",
"City of Miami Beach Appearance Bond Account", each bearing two
signatures as above set forth or bearing the signatures consisting
of the background on the sample check attached hereto and made a
part hereof; and the Finance Director is hereby authorized to use
said signatures in connection with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried
in the City National Bank of Miami, designated "City of Miami Beach
General Clearance Account", and "City of Miami Beach Construction
Fund Resort Tax Account", withdrawals of funds from which shall be
on printed checks designated "City of Miami Beach General Clearance
Account", and "City of Miami Beach Construction Fund Resort Tax
Account", each bearing two signatures as above set forth, or
bearing the signatures consisting of the background and other
identifying symbols and facsimile signatures as are imprinted on
the sample check attached hereto and made a part hereof; and the
Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in
connection with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried
in the Jefferson National Bank of Miami Beach, designated "City of
Miami Beach General Clearance Account' and "City of Miami Beach
Resort Tax Fund Account' withdrawals of funds from which shall be
on printed checks designated "City of Miami Beach General Clearance
Account" and City of Miami Beach Resort Tax Fund Account", each
bearing two signatures as above set forth, or bearing the signature
consisting of the background and other identifying symbols and
facsimile signatures as are imprinted on the sample check attached
hereto and made a part hereof; and the Finance Director is hereby
authorized to use said signatures in connection with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried
in the Pan American Bank, designated "City of Miami Beach General
Clearance Account", and "City of Miami Beach Community Development
Program Fund", withdrawals of funds from which shall be on printed
checks designated "City of Miami Beach General Clearance Account",
and "City of Miami Beach Community Development Program Fund", each
bearing two signatures as above set forth; or bearing the signature
consisting of the background and other identifying symbols and
facsimile signatures as are imprinted on the sample check attached
hereto and made a part thereof; and the Finance Director is hereby
authorized to use said signatures in connection with said accounts.

And with the further provision as to the accounts carried
in the Capital Bank, designated "City of Miami Beach General
Clearance Account", and "City of Miami Beach Insurance Claims
Account", withdrawals of funds from which shall be on printed
checks designated "City of Miami Beach General Clearance Account",
and "City of Miami Beach Insurance Claims Account", each bearing
two signatures as above set forth; or bearing the signature
consisting of the background and other identifying symbols and
facsimile signatures as are imprinted on the sample check attached
hereto and made a part hereof; and the Finance Director is hereby
authorized to use said signatures in connection with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried
in the Southeast Bank, N.A. , designated "City of Miami Beach General
Clearance Account", withdrawals of funds from which shall be on
printed checks designated "City of Miami Beach General Clearance
Account", and bearing two signatures as above set forth, or
bearing the signature consisting of the background and other
identifying symbols and facsimile signatures as are imprinted
on the sample check attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
the Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures
in connection with said accounts.
SECTION 2: That said INTERCONTINENTAL BANK, SUN BANK OF MIAMI/N.A,
CITY NATIONAL BANK OF MIAMI, JEFFERSON NATIONAL BANK OF
MIAMI, N/A, BARNETT BANK OF MIAMI/N.A. , PAN AMERICAN BANK, N.A. ,
CAPITAL BANK, and SOUTHEAST BANK/N.A. , are hereby authorized
and requested to accept, honor and pay without further inquiry,
and until delivery to it of written notice of the revocation of
the authority hereby granted, all checks and other orders for
the payment or withdrawal of money deposited with said banks
in the name of said City of Miami Beach, including checks drawn
to the individual order of the officers signing same and including
also all such instruments payable or endorsed to the order of the
City of Miami Beach, when such checks or other orders for money
shall be signed or endorsed in the name of the City of Miami Beach
by its officers hereinbefore named.
SECTION 3: That Resolution No. 84-17808 adopted on the 25th day
of July, 1984, be and the same is hereby rescinded
and that all other resolutions or parts of resolution in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of July , 1985.
