A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AWARDING THE
PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL ASSIGNMENT TO SLACK,
SLACK & ROE, M.A. I . APPRAISERS AND
CONSULTANTS, FOR THE PROPERTIES NEEDED FOR THE
WIDENING OF WASHINGTON AVENUE FROM BISCAYNE
STREET TO FIRST STREET/HN-426, AND APPRAISAL
ASSIGNMENT FOR THE INTERSECTION REALIGNMENT OF
BISCAYNE STREET AND JEFFERSON AVENUE/ALTON
ROAD/HN-425.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA;
WHEREAS , in accordance with the request of the Public
Works Director to the City Attorney, a proposal for professional
appraisal services has been solicited and received from Theodore
C. Slack, Jr . , M.A. I . of Slack, Slack & Roe, Inc. , Appraisers and
Consultants, in anticipation of condemnation for the following
projects:
1. The widening of Washington Avenue from Biscayne Street
to First Street from a right-of-way width of 60 feet to
100 feet; and
2. The proposed realignment at the intersection of Biscayne
Street and Jefferson Avenue/Alton Road which will
require an acquisition of three (3) lots; and
WHEREAS, the City attorney has reviewed proposals for
professional appraisal services from Theodore C. Slack, Jr . ,
M.A.I . of Slack, Slack and Roe, Inc. , Appraisers and Consultants;
and
WHEREAS , appraiser Slack' s fee for professional services
will be twelve thousand eight hundred seventy-five dollars
($12, 875) , said services to be completed on or about the second
week of December , 1985; and

WHEREAS , the funding for this appraisal assignment is to
be taken from the $9. 8 million infrastructure bond issue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Slack, Slack and Roe, Inc. ,
M.A. I . , Appraisers and Consultants be awarded the professional
appraisal assignment for the properties needed for the widening of
Washington Avenue from Biscayne Street to First Street/HN---426 and
appraisal assignment for the intersection realignment of Biscayne
Street and Jefferson Avenue/Alton Road/HN---425.
