RESOLUTION 85-18142 RESOLUTION NO. 85-18142 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHANGE OF AUTHORIZED SIGNATORS FOR, AND THE CONTINUED MAINTENANCE OF AN IMPREST CHECKING ACOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WITH INTERCONTINENTAL BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 84-17889. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach created an Imprest Checking Account for the Department of Community Affairs and Human Services with the Intercontinental Bank of Miami Beach, in the amount of $2,000.00, for the purpose of making emergency payments to the needy; and, WHEREAS, the re-organization of the Community Affairs and Human Services Department to the Economic and Community Development Department has resulted in staff changes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that: 1. An Imprest Checking Account in the amount of $2,000.00 be reestablished at the Intercontinental Bank of Miami Beach. 2. That the five following employees be authorized to sign assistance payment checks as follows: Mr. Stuart L. Rogel or Mrs. Shirley Taylor-Prakelt, who must co-sign, with one of the other three signatures. Stuart L. Rogel Frances Katz or and or Shirley Taylor-Prakelt Rebecca Greenspan or Bertha Casais 3. That the maximum amount to be paid by such checks be $25.00. 4. That a full accounting be rendered by the Department of Economic and Community Development each time reimbursement of the Imprest Checking Account is requested. 5. That checks be prepared to create two record-keeping and auditing copies. 6. That Resolution No. 84-17889, adopted on October 17, 1984 be hereby repealed.
