A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AN AGREEMENT FOR EMPLOYMENT OF A
CONVENTION CENTER/TOPA COORDINATOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is undertaking renovation and expansion of
the Convention Center and renovation of TOPA; and
WHEREAS, these projects are extremely complex in nature and require
considerable coordination among consultants, committees and Administration; and
WHEREAS, bond funds are available to provide for this coordination service,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Manager is authorized to negotiate a services
agreement for an individual to provide the necessary coordination in an amount not to exceed
$50,000.
