A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND POST, BUCKLEY,
SCHUH & JERNIGAN, INC. FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR LUMMUS PARK
IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
on July 24 , 1985 , pursuant to Commission Memorandum No. 448_$x_
authorized the administration to enter into an agreement for
architectural and engineering services for Lummus Park
Improvements; and
WHEREAS, Post, Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan, Inc. was the
first-ranked firm pursuant to Request for Proposal No. 145-84/85 ;
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement has been negotiated,
the City Manager has recommended its execution and the City
Attorney has approved it as to form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute the Agreement between the City of
Miami Beach and Post , Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan, Inc. for
architectural and engineering services for Lummus Park
improvements.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July, 1985.

RFP SPECIFICATION INTENT:
To provide professional architect/engineer services for Lummus Park improvements in
accordance with State of Florida statutes for professional services.
BID AMOUNT AND FUNDING:
Not to exceed $38,000.00 for first phase. Funds are available in Community Development
Block Grant Funds Account No. 139.5531.699.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
1. That the Commission rank order the three firms listed above after their six (6) minute
presentation.
2. That the Commission authorize the adoption of the attached resolution for the Mayor
to sign the negotiated contract as presented after rank ordering.
