A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH AMERICAN ASOCIATION OF BLOOD
BANKS FOR USE OF SOUTH HALL AND NORTH HALL
WRAPAROUND EXCLUDING STUDIO ROOM OF THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON OCTOBER 17-25 ,
1985 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF BLOOD BANKS
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
SOUTH HALL AND NORTH WRAPAROUND
EXCLUDING STUDIO ROOM
for the event known as
CONVENTION
on SOUTH HALL: OCTOBER 17-25 , 1985
NORTH HALL WRAPAROUND, EXCLUDING STUDIO ROOM:
OCTOBER 18-22 , 1985
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been
prepared by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
above-described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that
the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
