A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE LEASES WITH UNITED
STATES POSTAL SERVICE FOR OFF-STREET PARKING
SPACES AT 72ND STREET AND CARLYLE, SHERIDAN
AVENUE AND 42ND STREET, AND COLLINS AVENUE AND
13TH STREET.
WHEREAS, the United States Postal Service has been
leasing on a month-to-month basis parking meters at (1) 72nd
Street and Carlyle, (2) Sheridan Avenue and 42nd Street , and (3)
Collins Avenue and 13th Street; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that a rate increase to
$250. 00 per meter per year is indicated; and
WHEREAS, new lease agreements reflecting the rate
increase have been prepared, the City Manager has recommended
their execution, and the City Attorney has approved them as to
form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are
authorized to execute leases with the United States Postal Service
for off-street parking spaces at (1) 72nd Street and Carlyle, (2)
Sheridan Avenue and 42nd Street, and (3) Collins Avenue and 13th
Street.
