ACCEPTING RESULTS OF PERSONNEL BOARD ELECTION,
GROUP THREE EMPLOYEES, HELD ON JULY 30, 1985
OWERR THE FACT)
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Clerk and Inspectors who
conducted the Election held on July 30, 1985 for the purpose of electing a
Regular member of Group Three of the City employees to serve on the Personnel
Board; and
WHEREAS, the said City Commission has canvassed said returns and
certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of said
City that it hereby adopts the said certificate as the result of said
Election, and does hereby declare the member from Group Three elected to the
Personnel Board, as follows:
GROUP THREE: STEPHEN COOPER (Elected by 61 votes out of 137 votes taken,
being a clear majority at the Election) .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of September , 1984.

PERSONNEL BOARD — GROUP THREE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH EMPLOYEES
STATE OF FLORIDA
COUNTY OF DADE:
We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, do hereby certify, in
duplicate, that we held and conducted an election of the members of Group
Three of the employees of the City of Miami Beach, at the City Hall, 1700
Convention Center Drive, (Inside Lobby Area,) on July 30, 1985 for the
purpose of electing a member of the Personnel Board to represent Group Three;
that at the close of the polls we proceeded to open the ballot box and count
the ballots, and found the results of said Election as conducted by us to be
as follows, which results we then publicly proclaimed.
That there were a total of 137 votes taken.
61 votes were cast for STEVE COOPER
44 votes were cast for ELSA WILLIAMS
27 votes were cast for JAMES E. MACK
5 void ballots
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereto set our hands and seals at Miami
Beach, Florida, on this 31st day of July A.D. 1985.
