A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH PRODUCTIONS, INC. FOR USE OF
THE SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER ON OCTOBER 9-15 , 1985 .
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
PRODUCTIONS, INC.
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
MARCH 6 , 1985
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to-wit:
THE SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
DADE COUNTY HOME SHOW
ON: OCTOBER 9-15 , 1985
LESSEE CHANGING USE DATES TO:
October 9-10 , 1985 (6 :00 p.m. ) - Move in
October 10-14 , 1985 - Show
October 15 , 1985 - Move out
(and certain other changes)
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No. 515-85 a
copy of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which
this Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same , and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made part hereof , the
provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the
existing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission
Memorandum be and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk he and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and
on behalf of the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of September , 1985 .
