A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH REQUESTING THE RESIGNATION
OF THREE MIAMI BEACH HOUSING AUTHORITY
COMMISSIONERS: MORTON J. PERLIN, HERBERT
LERNER, AND JULIUS SAND.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
is extremely perturbed and dissatisfied with a recent action of
the Miami Beach Housing Authority; and
WHEREAS, three Housing Authority Commissioners presented
and voted for the resolution which authorizes the presentation of
offers to buy certain Housing Authority properties; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
is totally opposed to the actions taken by the three Housing
Authority Commissioners,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the City Commission requests the
resignation of Morton J. Perlin, Herbert Lerner , and Julius Sand.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of September , 1985 .
