A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF
APPRAISAL FEE TO SLACK, SLACK & ROE, INC. FOR
APPRAISAL OF PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN 41ST
STREET OFF-STREET PARKING PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Commission at its meeting of December
5 , 1984 , declared the acquisition of the 41st Street Off-Street
Parking Project properties, pursuant to Resolution No. 84-17948 ,
to be a public necessity and directed the City Attorney to
institute the filing of eminent domain proceedings to acquire the
properties; and
WHEREAS , the City Attorney in his report to the City
Commission requested that a third appraisal be obtained on the
subject properties; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney engaged the services of
Theodore C. Slack, M.A. I . , of Slack , Slack & Roe, Inc. , Appraiser ;
and
WHEREAS, the appraisal fee for the professional services
of Slack, Slack & Roe, Inc. was $11,500 . 00; and
WHEREAS , the funding for this appraisal is to be taken
from Metered Parking Bond Funds ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the administration is
authorized to pay the appraisal fee of $11,500 . 00 for appraisal of
properties located with the 41st Street Off-Street Parking Project
to Slack , Slack & Roe, Inc. , with funds to be taken from Metered
Parking Bonds Funds.
